The Interactive Faience Centre – Skarbiec Fajansu is a branch of the “Browar B.” Cultural Centre, located in the historic building of the former Włocławek Mutual Credit Society.
The Skarbiec Fajansu takes visitors into the extraordinary multimedia world of Włocławek ceramics, drawing on the 150-year tradition of faience production. The venue features a wide range of interactive solutions. Visitors can enjoy, among other attractions, a multimedia table where they can design their own faience decorations, a timeline presenting the history of faience factories, and a map introducing other ceramic production centres. The heart of the Skarbiec Fajansu is an amphitheatre housing the permanent exhibition, which showcases unique faience artworks. Interactive educational and exhibition spaces, divided into age-appropriate thematic paths, help visitors discover new chapters in the history of what are now considered iconic works of ceramic art. The escape room, designed as an educational and entertainment space for both children and adults, is also very popular.
The Faience Treasury is also a modern creative space offering permanent art groups and workshops for participants of all ages. The programme includes, among others, workshops on clay vessel forming, painting traditional faience floral motifs, and 3D printing.
