As part of the special exhibition “The New Dramaturgy of Dining: Design Beyond the Plate,” we invite you to an exclusive and inspiring afternoon with gourmet chef Christian Krüger from the “Faktorei21” restaurant in Duisburg. Together with him, you will look beyond the plate to discover how the ancient art of fermentation creates new flavor experiences, how creative and sustainable culinary practices effectively combat food waste, and how the design and arrangement of tableware shape our perception. The gourmet chef will also unlock the secrets of “plate psychology,” demonstrating how colors, shapes, and textures influence our senses and our perception of taste.
