Ceramic Painting workshop

Creative Workshop – Ceramic Painting is a popular program where you can try what it’s like to become a master of Modra majolica for a moment. Under the guidance of our experienced instructors, you will paint a pre-prepared ceramic piece, e.g., a cup, a small plate, or another decorative or functional item.

To start, we will introduce the basic principles of painting on a glazed surface and show you how to work with traditional paints that, after firing, develop beautifully rich shades. Then the brush is in your hands—it’s up to you whether you take inspiration from classic Modra ornaments, folk motifs, or create your own modern design.

After you finish your work, we will let it dry and then fire it in a ceramic kiln. You will be able to pick up the finished product in person, or we will be happy to send it to you by post.

The workshops are ideal for individuals, families, groups of friends, as well as school or corporate groups. They are adapted for all age categories and require no prior experience—just the desire to create and imagination.
